Take action. Together.

Pray. Share. Discern. Act. Give thanks!

We are in the ‘act’ part of this particular arc. Prayer, sharing, and discernment are underway across the country. Action can be more challenging. Not only is change difficult, but there are many actions to take, everything from community solar, to housing and hospitality, to land restoration, organizing, urban farming, national and local legislation, emergency management and …climate touches everything. We know all this. One step at a time.

Sign - On

Sign on to a letter co-sponsored by Faiths4Future and Christians for the Mountains. The faith community supports West Virginians and urges the passage of imperative climate legislation. Read the letter—For our children; For our families and all of creation; West Virginia Christian Leaders Call for Legislation on Climate—and sign on.

Local & National

Members of our group recognize that there are many layers of community where action can take place—starting with our church communities, local cities and towns, counties, states, national, and even international efforts.

One such effort brings the local community together with an effort to pass national climate legislation. Read more about how people of faith are connecting with Climate Crisis Policy Initiative.

Faith and Activism

Read Line 3 Voices and hear the voices of the Anishinaabe/Ojibwa people of Minnesota as they raise a call to protect the water, protect traditional food production, stop climate change, and cancel the Enbridge Line 3 pipelin.
