Earth Day Prayers
On April 22nd, United Methodists from around the world gather in Charlotte, North Carolina, to celebrate an Earth Day Vigil for Creation.

There are three ways to participate in the Earth Day Vigil for Creation.
Attend in-person in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Attend virtually via Zoom / Livestream
Attend with a gathering in your local church.
However you attend, organizers hope you will be inspired! You are encouraged to take your inspiration and create an Earth Day Prayer for the Earth. One Prayer will be selected as best reflects Theme, Inspiration, and Style/Mechanics, and the prize of $1,000 will go to the author(s) local church green team / creation care ministry.
Submissions will be published as a collection, Earth Day Prayers, for use in churches in observance of Earth Day and in celebration of God’s good Creation.
